Tobias Vincent "Tobey" Maguire who is an American Actor born on June 27, 1975 is best known for his role as Peter Parker/Spider-Man in the Spider-Man films. He began his career in the 1980s.
Maguire was born in Santa Monica, California, the son of Wendy (née Brown), a secretary turned screenwriter and producer, and Vincent Maguire, a construction worker and cook. His parents got divorced when Maguire was two. Maguire spent much of his childhood moving from town to town, living with each parent and other family members.During his childhood, Maguire entertained the idea of becoming a chef and to that end wanted to enroll in a home economics class as a sixth grader. His mother offered him US$100 to take a drama class instead, and Tobey agreed.

The Green Goblin - He is one of Spider-Man's most persistent foes, and is considered as one of the worst enemy of Spider-Man. Having been directly responsible for numerous tragedies in Spider-Man's life, such as the death of Gwen Stacy- Peter's first love and masterminding the entire Clone Saga. The chemical solution devised by Norman Osborn from a formula originally conceived by Professor Mendel Stromm, turned Norman Osborn into the Green Goblin. It enhances Norman Osborn's physical abilities and intellect it also drove him insane. In the process, he gained superhuman agility, strength, speed, stamina, and dexterity. Additionally, Osborn has gained a "healing factor" allowing him to quickly heal from lethal bodily damage (for example: being stabbed through the chest by large blades or have several pumpkin bombs strapped to his stomach). Aside from his physical advantages, the serum also greatly enhanced Norman's already above average intellect, making him a bona fide genius capable of making progress in advanced areas of genetics, robotics, engineering, physics and applied chemistry. The Goblin formula is also said to have driven Osborn mentally insane; defects in his personality were strongly augmented by the serum, resulting in dangerous mood-swings and hallucinations. A brilliant engineer and inventor, he is also a superb strategist and a charismatic leader. His power and abilities - due to exposure to atomic radiation, Doctor Octopus has the mental ability to control his four, electrically powered, telescoping, power of grasping and holding, titanium-steel, artificial, tentacle arms (even when they are not connected to him, he can also control them over vast distances), that are attached to a stainless-steel harness encompassing his lower torso. These arms are capable of lifting several tons, provided that at least one arm is used to support his body. The reaction time and agility of his mechanical appendages is enhanced far beyond the range attainable for normal human musculature. The arms allow Octavius to move rapidly over any terrain and to scale vertical surfaces and ceilings. He has developed his concentration and control to the point that he can engage a single opponent, like Spider-Man, or multiple opponents with the arms while performing a completely separate, more delicate task, such as stirring coffee or constructing a machine. Doctor Octopus has also employed an armored body suit enabling him to breathe underwater and designed to withstand extreme water pressure.

It requires a host, usually human, to bond around for its survival. In return the Venom creature gives its host enhanced powers. In effect, when the Venom Symbiote bonds with a human to form a super-villain, that new dual-life form itself is also often called Venom. Spider-Man was the first host it merged with before its evil motives were clear. After Spider-Man rejected it, the symbiote went on to merge with other hosts (starting with the most famous Venom: Eddie Brock) and so began its reign as the villain known as Venom.He has become one of Spider-Man's most enduring and popular foes. A bite from a radioactive spider on a school field trip causes a variety of changes in the body of Peter Parker and gives him superpowers. Spider-Man has the ability to cling to walls, superhuman strength, a sixth sense ("spider-sense") that alerts him to danger, perfect balance and equilibrium, as well as superhuman speed and agility. Some of his comic series have him shooting webs from his wrists. Brilliant, Parker excels in applied science, chemistry and physics. He is intellectually gifted, a character as a genius.
With his talents, he sews his own costume to conceal his identity, and constructs many devices that complement his powers, most notably mechanical web-shooters. This mechanism ejects an advanced adhesive, releasing web-fluid in a variety of configurations, including a single rope-like strand to swing from, a net to bind enemies, a single strand for yanking opponents into objects, strands for whipping foreign objects at enemies, and a simple glob to foul machinery or blind an opponent. As Peter deals with Harry's drug problems, and Harry's father is revealed to be Spider-Man's nemesis the Green Goblin, Peter even attempts to give up his costumed identity.
